Karma, Padma, Buddha, Ratna, and Vajra: the five mandalas above represent the Tantric Buddhist teaching of the five families or five energies. Each mandala whimsically represents a wide-open wisdom energy of enlightened activity and at the same time, its corresponding fixated, restrictive neurosis. You’ll find a short description of what each energy represents when you click on an image below. You may also learn more about the Five Buddha Families in this article by Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche.
These works are available as fine art prints, either as giclée on archival paper or as dye sublimation print on aluminum. They can be printed in an array of sizes and may be purchased unframed, framed in a commercial frame, or framed in a custom frame designed and built by me. Sublimation prints do not need a frame and are ready to hang. And as you can see from the group featured at the top of the page, this medium offers a luminous metallic finish. Please see my Purchase Inquiries page for more information.
